PEMBROKE DOCK QUINS RFC 31 ST.DAVIDS RFC 0
 
The Quins pulled off the hoped for bonus point win over a St. Davids side that competed to the last and certainly deserved to at least get on the scoreboard in the only game that was played in the County.
 
It goes without saying the weather was atrocious, with the rain pouring down almost continually but this did not stop the Quins getting quickly into their stride when Hooker Carl Williams forced his way over wide out after just 5 minutes for his 3rd try of the season. Outside Half Jonathan Rogers missed the the almost impossible conversion attempt from the touchline.With the pitch starting to cut up quite badly as the game went on both sides showed fine spirit and commitment with the Saints not giving an inc. It was not until 5 minutes before half-time that the Quins managed to score their 2nd try when Prop Jason Keates emerged from a pile of bodies to claim his first try of the season. Jonathan Rogers missed the conversion. The Saints had a opportunity to reduce the arrears right on half-time but Full-Back John Miles pulled his attempt wide.
 
The Quins desperate to get the all important bonus point got just the start they  wanted when a superb pass from the ever improving Thomas Doyle sent fellow centre and Youth Team Captain, Charlie Dearden racing in from 30 yds for his 1st try in Senior Rugby. Full-Back Damien Miller converted from in front of the posts to  push the score out to 17-0 in the Quins favour. From then on in it became the Thomas Doyle show when the young Centre scored the final 2 tries. First when he danced through the Saints defence to touchdown under the posts and then he finished off a fine move when No.8 Barry Parsons sent him in under the posts,D amien Miller converted to finalise the scoring.
